"The theme for Chanel spring/summer 2013 was "The Eco Show". There were 70 models in the Grand Palais, which featured life-sized wind turbines and a solar panelled catwalk. Hair texture was extremely natural and soft to juxtapose the exact centre parting. The hair was folded into the nape of the neck and casually spun into a loose twist, then held in place with Karl’s finishing touch, an oversized Chanel pearl." ~ Sam McKnight

Parisian (adjective) of or characteristic of Paris, its people or culture, or the variety of French spoken there…(noun) a person born or living in Paris…

How to Look Parisian Fabulous!

Select the right shoes. The traditional Parisian teen is never without her chic little ballerina flats that speak gamine class. If you crave some extra inches, try some juicy patent heels or motorcycle babe boots.

Wear the right jeans. Skin-tight skinny jeans are the mainstay of a Parisian chic girl; generally in white, grey, black, dark blue or light blue but sometimes a few retro numbers sneak in and take the limelight.

Wear delicious skirts. Parisian girls always look good in a skirt, whether it is long or short. Try wearing the long decadent bohemian floor-scraping creations that carry lavish folksy prints. In winter, aim for a more daring and slinky addition; the classic chic-o-rama black mini which looks fabulous with sexy black Wolford tights and yummy black patent heels.

Splash out on quality day dresses. In summer, nothing looks better than a swingy floral number with a folksy feel. Plain white is also always a stunning number. In winter, nothing is a better pick-me-up than a short woollen or cashmere sweater dress, paired with the motorcycle boots. For the beach, a fab ‘cover-up’ is an essential to your holiday garb.

Splurge on the party dresses. Either pull off a little metallic stunt or try a girly white wonder with a modern edge. Or, if you’re feeling in the mood, try a slinky silk mini in a jewel colored tone. If you’re really feeling lazy, wear your itsy-bitty backless strapless black dress

Choose quality shirts. Your best bet is a cute T with a punky picture or message a la Kate Moss. Mix splurges with high-street bargains. Try out some classic french vintage; 20’ for a boyish figure and 40’ for a curvy girl.

Wear chic jumpers (sweaters). Look for a sporty line or, if you rally want to go for that quality chic look, try the classic baggy v-neck cashmere sweater in rich tones like chocolate, dove and royal purple.

Prepare your hair. This part is very easy as French girls either let it loose in soft au-naturel waves or, if you have straight hair, in in a neat, clipped bob that speaks class.

Be judicious with the make-up. A glimmer of gloss and a slash of mascara is all you need to unleash your inner glamazon and hypnotise the male species.

Select quality accessories. The bag is always a serious spice factor and the defining point of every girls outfit. It is definitely worth a splurge. Try juicy leather hobo, a funny tote for school and the imperative clutch purse.

Wear decent hats. Funky cashmere beanie cap, pillbox hat, or an elegant straw boater with ample affectations are ideal. Otherwise, keep the hat off your great hair.

Select lovely jewellery. Hip modern shapes are rocking the runways now but you can always resort to a dainty locket or a cute pendant. Get something that actually lasts.

Wear gloves for colder weather. Try some leather bikers or some soft cashmere finger-kissers.

Choose adorable coats. A gorgeous daintily slimming trench coat boosts up the fashion factor in your autumn garb. Wear in shades of khaki or dove grey to counter balance the military side of this classy coat. For the depths of freezing Winter a warmer but equally cool item is necessary. The scrumptious montcler puffer jacket is très importante!
